PETLIBRO Granary Smart Feeder Dual Bowl: Specs, Pros & Cons
Strip away the second bowl and this is the PETLIBRO Granary Smart Feeder: same PLAF103 hopper, same rotor, same app and schedule. What the Dual Bowl package adds is a wider tray with two stainless-steel bowls, a holder, and a small plastic splitter that sits in the chute and divides each dispense between left and right. PETLIBRO sells it as a separate SKU, so it gets its own page here, but the buying decision is whether that tray is worth a modest premium over the single-bowl feeder.
The splitter is a physical wedge. Slide it fully one way and the food divides evenly. Slide it the other way and the right bowl gets more. There is no per-pet logic, no way to schedule the bowls separately, and nothing stops one cat from eating both portions. It is a tool for reducing bowl-crowding between two cats that eat the same food at the same times, not a multi-pet diet manager.
The feeder underneath is a solid mid-range Wi-Fi unit. Meals are scheduled in the PETLIBRO app over either Wi-Fi band, with up to ten meals a day and portions counted in small increments, a ten-second meal call you can record, and alerts for low food, a jam or a low battery. The hopper is sealed at the lid and the outlet, a desiccant bag lives in the lid, and three D batteries take over if the power drops, with the schedule continuing while Wi-Fi pauses.
What it lacks is any camera, which PETLIBRO makes clear in its own gallery, and any wet-food or large-kibble capability. Households that want to see the cats eat should look at the camera version of this same tray, and households with one cat should not pay for a tray they will not use.

How this VS Score was computed
Score 36: each known spec is measured against the median of all smart feeders (10 products), then weighted; 50 means level with that median. In classes of six or more, a value beyond the class’s 10th–90th percentile range counts as that limit, so one extreme product cannot set the scale. 36% of the scoreable weight could be used; unknown values, features not applicable to this class and proxies (battery capacity where a rated life exists) add or remove nothing.

Editor’s note
This is the version of the Granary I would point most two-cat households to, provided both cats eat the same kibble. The single-bowl Granary is one of the more dependable budget Wi-Fi feeders around, and the dual tray changes nothing about how it dispenses, only where the food lands. That is a strength, because there is no extra electronics to fail and no second motor to jam, and a weakness, because what you are buying is a bowl arrangement.
The gap is fairness. PETLIBRO's own FAQ says the portion setting is split across both bowls according to where you set the wedge, and that is the whole story. A greedy cat learns within a day that there is a second bowl a paw-length away. If your two cats are already fine sharing a room at dinner, this removes the shoving. If one is being starved out, a feeder with pet recognition or a microchip-gated bowl is the actual fix, and PETLIBRO now makes one in the Granary 2 Vision Duo.
The app side is mature. Dual-band Wi-Fi setup avoids the usual smart-gadget frustration of hunting for a legacy network, the schedule survives an outage on battery power, and the meal-call recording is more useful than it sounds for cats that hide when the house is empty. Hand-wash care for the bowls and holder is a small annoyance, and the base cannot be rinsed at all.
I would buy this over the camera dual-bowl model if I already had a camera in the room or did not want to watch mealtimes. I would buy the single-bowl Granary instead for one cat, and I would not buy any Granary for a dog above the small-to-medium range, since the portion increments and kibble window are sized for cats.

The bottom line
The PETLIBRO Granary Smart Feeder Dual Bowl earns a VS Score of 36 on the 36% of specifications we could compare like for like — an indication, not a ranking.
- Who it’s for
- Two cats on the same kibble who need a little separation at the bowl, in a home that already trusts the PETLIBRO app and does not want a camera.
- Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone feeding two different diets or dealing with food guarding. The wedge in the chute cannot tell the cats apart and does nothing once one bowl is empty.
- The trade-off that matters
- You are paying for a tray, not a feature: the dual-bowl edition dispenses exactly like the single-bowl Granary, so its value depends entirely on whether two bowls change your cats' behavior.
- The main alternative
- PETLIBRO Granary Smart Camera Feeder Dual Bowl: the same tray and feeder with a night-vision camera and two-way audio for owners who want to watch mealtimes.
